Building Leaders. Creating Opportunities. Preparing for the Future.

The Centennial High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NJROTC) program, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, strengthen academic success, stay physically active, serve their community, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.

Why Choose NJROTC?

NJROTC is more than a class. It is an opportunity for students to grow both inside and outside the classroom while preparing for their future.

Students receive PE credit during their first, second year, and third year. During their fourth year they will receive honors elective credit. Throughout the program, cadets are encouraged to challenge themselves, take on leadership responsibilities, work as a team, and become active members of their school and community.

Preparing Students for Life After High School

NJROTC is designed to help students develop skills that extend beyond graduation. Whether a student plans to attend college, enter the workforce, pursue military service, or explore another career path, the leadership, teamwork, and personal responsibility developed through NJROTC can provide a strong foundation for the future.

The Navy JROTC program also offers full-ride college scholarships, valued at approximately $300,000, to several universities throughout the nation. These opportunities can help qualified cadets pursue their educational goals after high school.
